The Role
We are currently searching for a DPO Program Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Director, Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement. This vacancy is a full-time, 12-month contract opportunity. The DPO Program Coordinator supports the ongoing success of the Distribution Process Optimization (DPO) program across The Beer Store (TBS) and Brewers Distributor Ltd. (BDL). In partnership with program leadership and stakeholders throughout the organization, this role helps facilitate the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of key program initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall effectiveness and adoption of DPO standards, supporting operational excellence and driving consistency across the national supply chain network.
Location
Our Corporate Office is currently located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model with visits into the office a minimum of three times per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate DPO site launches, readiness checkpoints, and audits, ensuring sites are prepared, resourced, and positioned for successful qualification and audit outcomes
- Manage scheduling, logistics, agendas, follow-up actions, and travel arrangements associated with DPO kick-offs, site visits, and audits
- Prepare and administer kick-off surveys, track results, support action planning, and monitor follow-up activities
- Develop, standardize, maintain, and continuously improve DPO tools, templates, and resources to drive consistency, scalability, efficiency, and program adoption
- Rebrand and update program materials to align with corporate branding standards and stakeholder requirements
- Gather and incorporate end-user feedback to enhance the usability and effectiveness of DPO tools, resources, and digital platforms
- Coordinate signage and swag requirements for sites, including specifications, ordering, shipment, delivery, invoicing, and budget tracking
- Maintain DPO marketing assets, playbooks, and SharePoint site content, ensuring information is current, accessible, and well organized
- Administer SharePoint user access, support site enhancements, and develop new features to improve user experience and adoption
- Support Continuous Improvement (CI) project administration by managing intake processes, maintaining project trackers, monitoring project status, and generating reports, data, and analytics
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
- University degree or Community college diploma/certificate in Supply Chain, Business Administration or other technical/related field; Degree in Engineering preferred
- Certification in Project/Program Management (PMP) is a strong asset
- Certification in Lean 6 sigma (White/Yellow belt) is an asset
Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse distribution or manufacturing
- Experience coordinating meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, and follow-up actions
- Experience developing, maintaining, and organizing documentation, including procedures, templates, training materials, reports, and presentations
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels
- Experience using SAP (e.g. Preg creation, PO receiving, reporting)
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees across all levels of the organization
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Process and continuous improvement-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to support and assist colleagues as needed
- Advanced proficiency of MS Office, particularly in Excel, and PowerPoint, with intermediate knowledge of Power BI considered a strong asset
- Basic knowledge of MS Visio or project management tools (like MS Project, Monday.com) is a strong asset
- Advanced knowledge of creating new or maintaining existing SharePoint sites
Compensation
