The Role

We are currently searching for a Keg Repair Technician, reporting to the Manager, Supply and Warehousing This vacancy is a Full-Time permanent opportunity. The Keg Repair Technician is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Keg Repair Centre at The Beer Store, with the goal of expanding it into a leading industry keg repair hub. This role includes managing facility operations, training support staff, overseeing inventory control, ensuring daily production targets are met, enforcing quality control standards, maintaining tools and equipment, and offering technical expertise.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinate shipping schedules, deliveries, and manage day-to-day operations
  • Oversee chemical inventory and ensure regular refilling for Field Technicians
  • Perform keg and pump repairs for both owner and kegs as needed
  • Ensure quality control, safety, and proper maintenance of equipment, chemicals, and work areas, including keg testing and machinery inspections
  • Provide training, customer service, and support to owner brewers, while aiming to exceed sales performance targets and maintain assembly procedures
  • Manage general warehouse maintenance and organization
  • Prepare and manage various reports, including weekly production, shipping, damages, invoicing, billing, and month-end reports
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

  • Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent

Experience

  • Mechanical or Trades background preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the Brewery Industry
  • Forklift experience and proficiency is considered an asset

Skills

  • Self starter with the ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, strong customer service aptitude with attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Effective troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to use various hand tools including specialized tools
  • Physically fit and capable to lift heavy materials (50lbs)
  • Team player, able to work with other employees in warehouse

Compensation
