The Role

We are currently searching for a Part-Time Payroll Intern for a 3-Month Contract opportunity, reporting to the Manager, Payroll.  This role offers flexibility to work up to 37.5 hours per week, however, there is a requirement to work a minimum of 4 hours per day Monday to Thursday and 7.5 hours on Friday. The Payroll Intern will assist with data entry, organizing, filing, maintaining paper and digital records, and assist with cleaning up in advance of our Corporate office redesign. This role involves sorting, labeling, scanning, and archiving documents to ensure proper recordkeeping and easy retrieval.

Location

Our Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON. We currently offer a hybrid work model with visits into the office a minimum of three times per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Sort and file documents in physical and electronic systems
  • Label folders and update filing systems as needed
  • Retrieve documents for staff upon request
  • Maintain confidentiality and organization of sensitive records
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

  • Must be currently enrolled in Post Secondary Education

Experience

  • Previous administrative support experience preferred

Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to manage own work independently and effectively, by prioritizing work schedules and completing assigned duties within timelines
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
