The Role
We are currently searching for a SAP Vendor & Master Data Specialist reporting to the Manager, Distribution and Master Data. This is a full-time, 6-month contract opportunity. This role involves creating, maintaining, and overseeing SAP Article Master and Vendor Master Data for beer, which is a key component controlling customer ordering, forecasting, product procurement, receipts, sales, reporting, warehouse management, and more. This data feeds into many other company system streams.
Location
Our Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model with visits into the office a minimum of twice per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function.
What You'll Be Doing
- Create and maintain vendors, articles, variants, and merchandise categories in SAP and advise departments and locations of updates
- Manage mass listings, maintain MCG data, and update logistics, storage location, and valuation data for new articles and extensions
- Collaborate on article procurement availability, assist with data governance, and update Article Master data across various systems (ECC, EWM, FNR)
- Control and maintain confidential flags, substitutions, and exclusive records for articles, working with multiple departments to improve process efficiency
- Respond to and resolve tickets in the Ticket Management System, acting as the first point of contact for brewers, agents, and distribution centers to address issues related to article availability, procurement, and system concerns
- Collaborate with SAP and FIORI teams to improve processes, develop solutions for unique brewer requests, enhance onboarding experiences, and address SAP gaps through feedback and incident reporting
- Provide expert guidance on article distribution, supply issues, and any product-related changes for brewers, agents, and new brewers, addressing concerns and assisting with the integration of new articles into company systems.
- Update and send weekly Product Information Bulletin, notify relevant parties of new articles or vendor changes, ensure accurate inventory and delisting processes, and provide daily pricing guidance for new articles.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Logistics, Information Management, or a related field
Experience
- 3 - 5 years of work-related experience in logistics and distribution, preferably within a TBS/BDL environment
- 3 – 5 years working with SAP ERP software (ECC, FNR)
Skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, fostering strong and effective relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Effective time management skills, ability to work under pressure due to tight departmental schedules and willing to work until the task is completed
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism in all interactions with brewers, agents, internal teams, and others, with the ability to manage demanding or difficult situations effectively
- Proven math, statistical, analytical, problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy required
- Adaptable to situations and uncontrollable events and be responsive to change
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Some team members will be required to be available from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday to provide BDL support
