The Role
We are currently searching for a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, reporting to the Senior Director, Strategic & Financial Planning. This vacancy is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence leads the development and execution of the company’s analytics strategy to support data‑driven decision-making across retail, distribution, merchandising, and supply chain functions. This role is responsible for delivering actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency, optimize inventory performance, strengthen category and drive profitable growth across the business. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with strategic thinking, leadership, and business acumen.
Location
This position is based at the Company’s Corporate Office. Regular in person attendance is required, with a minimum of three (3) days per week in the office. Our Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead enterprise-wide adoption of BI solutions through structured enablement programs, including targeted training and executive briefings
- Supports organizational change initiatives by facilitating communication, guiding stakeholders through transitions, and promoting the adoption of new tools and processes
- Drive the transition from legacy KPI packs and manual Excel reporting to automated, governed dashboards that improve accuracy, timeliness, and decision quality
- Establish and publish clear adoption, performance, and impact metrics, such as reductions in manual effort, improved cycle times, and increased dashboard utilization, to demonstrate value and reinforce continuous improvement
- Increase adoption of BI dashboards and data self-service tools
- Improve data quality and reduce reporting rework
- Create and standardize enterprise KPIs and consistent reporting frameworks implemented and maintained
- Demonstrate business impact through insights that drive decision‑making and measurable performance improvements
- High team engagement and collaboration demonstrated through solid cross‑functional relationships and positive team feedback
- Re‑established the Score Series as the unified framework and single source of truth for all TBS business performance metrics
- Strengthen leadership visibility and enable faster, data‑driven decision‑making through consistent, organization‑wide performance insights
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
- MBA or MSc in Data Science/Analytics preferred
- Change Management Certification is an asset
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in Business intelligence, with at least 5 years in Retail, CPG
- 5-7 years of experience leading and managing financial operations within a business division
- Experience with SAP is an asset
Skills
- Translate complex analyses into clear, persuasive narratives: context → insight → implication → action
- Communicates complex data insights clearly to audiences at all levels, from supervisors to executive leadership
- Strong project management and prioritization skills
- High attention to detail with a passion for data quality and accuracy
- Strong capability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
- Ability to perform trend analysis, forecasting, KPI tracking, and root‑cause analysis
- Skilled in applying advanced analytics features
- Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
- Advanced level of computer skills, including experience with Excel, SQL, and Power BI
- Expertise in building interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI Desktop
- Strong skills in creating calculated columns, measures, and tables using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Ability to develop complex data models, define model relationships, and optimize model performance
- Demonstrates strong capability in supporting and implementing organizational change initiatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the business
Compensation
