Draught Services, a division within The Beer Store, is Canada’s oldest and largest draught service and equipment company established since 1947. We work with Brewers and Licensees towards the common goal of promoting the highest quality draught beer experience through industry leading installation, global partnerships, and an established US and Canadian dealer network. We offer nationwide installation, system cleaning and service, and support and offer Canada’s premier Keg repair service.

The Role

We are currently searching for a Full-Time Field Installer reporting to the Field Manager. This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity.  This position will be servicing the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves engineering, designing, and installing various dispense systems (including draught beer, wine, coffee and water) while ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. It also involves promoting products and services through relationship-building, managing customer relationships, and coordinating complex installations.

Location

While our Draught Services Office is based in Oakville, ON, this position will specifically serve our licensees across the Greater Toronto Area.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conduct outreach through calls, visits, and presentations to existing and potential customers, providing accurate quotes for beverage dispensing systems and fostering relationships with local brewery representatives.
  • Monitor and review sales performance to exceed targets while addressing and resolving customer issues effectively.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, start-ups, and commissioning of new equipment while managing subcontractors and coordinating deliveries.
  • Schedule multiple installations, resolve timeline conflicts, and maintain daily updates on installation progress.
  • Provide estimates and ensure all necessary documentation are in place before installations begin.
  • Prepare accurate invoicing and complete all weekly paperwork in compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in marketing events and training
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

  • Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent
  • College diploma an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence / clear driver's abstract required

Experience

  • 3-5 years' previous experience within the Dispense industry
  • Mechanical or Trades background preferred

Skills

  • Self starter with the ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, strong customer service aptitude with attention to detail
  • Basic accounting knowledge with good computer skills (Microsoft office, outlook, Windows and Excel)
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
  • Available to work 40 hours per week, with potential on-call and overtime. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight shifts as needed
  • Ability to use various hand tools, working from heights (ladders, lifts), and physically fit and capable to lift heavy materials (75lbs)
  • Visibly maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public, customers and co-workers
  • Able to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and brewers
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel within the province of Ontario to support various projects is required
