Draught Services, a division within The Beer Store, is Canada’s oldest and largest draught service and equipment company established since 1947. We work with Brewers and Licensees towards the common goal of promoting the highest quality draught beer experience through industry leading installation, global partnerships, and an established US and Canadian dealer network. We offer nationwide installation, system cleaning and service, and support and offer Canada’s premier Keg repair service.
The Role
We are currently searching for a Part-Time Field Service Representative in South Western Ontario reporting to the Field Supervisor. You can expect to work up to 40 hours per week, availability for early morning shifts would be preferred. Hours subject to change based on business needs. A company vehicle will be provided for this role, therefore a valid G class driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required.
Location
While our Draught Services Office is based in Oakville, ON, this position will specifically serve our licensees in South Western Ontario.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out line cleaning and service in assigned geographic area. Maintain and grow, line cleaning customer base provide on demand service as required
- Install beverage dispensing systems as per company standards
- Troubleshoot and repair draught services problems and issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Plan and organize efficient schedule to maximize return on investment.
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory
- Use knowledge of systems design and installation technics to build and install beverage systems
- Maintain route schedule by means of record keeping and ensuring work orders are up to date
- Visits to new licensee customers and/or existing establishments who currently do not subscribe to our services
- Complete all invoicing in a timely manner adhering to company policy
- Maintain sufficient inventory levels for service area. Ensure inventory accuracy reconciliation
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
- Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent
- Valid 'G' class drivers license required
Experience
- A background in Mechanical/Trades is preferred but not required
Skills
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic accounting knowledge with good computer skills (Microsoft office, outlook, Windows and Excel)
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Ability to use various hand tools, working from heights (ladders, lifts), and physically fit and capable to lift heavy materials (75lbs)
- Able to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight, on-call and overtime as needed
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
