Mike Allen
General Manager, Distribution West
Mike has been with Brewers’ Distributor Limited since 1997 and is currently the General Manager, Distribution West. In his current role, Mike is responsible for the Business Operations of BDL in Western Canada, which includes the oversight of the Logistics Operations for six Distribution Centres located across British Colombia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Prior to his current role, Mike held the role of Director of Operations.
Outside of work, Mike enjoying spending time with his four children and four grandchildren. He loves to golf, spin vinyl, and enjoys all types of Italian food. Mike is passionate about giving back and is involved in T8N 100 Good Men, an organization that raises money for local charities.
When asked why Mike is proud to be a part of Brewers’ Distributor Ltd., he responded:

Kyle Oliver
Senior Manager, Operations - Alberta
Kyle joined Brewers’ Distributor Limited in 2013, but began his career at our affiliate company, The Beer Store, in 1999. In his current role as Senior Manager, Operations, Kyle ensures that customers and business partners are well serviced, and efficiencies set in place are attained in all areas of the operations. Prior to his promotion to Senior Manager of Operations, Kyle held previous roles including Assistant Manager of Operations and Manager of Operations.
When asked why Kyle is proud to be a part of Brewers’ Distributor Ltd., he responded:
“I am proud to have met and work with the greatest people. Everyone does their best to ensure we have a positive outcome no matter the situation. Personally, I am proud to say I worked at both The Beer Store and Brewers’ Distributor Limited to learn every aspect I can about our logistics and retail operations."

Peter Gill
Director, Operations – British Colombia
Peter has been with Brewers’ Distributor Limited since 1997. In his current role as Director, Operations, Peter is responsible for the distribution of shareholder and non-shareholder domestic and imported product within British Columbia. Prior to his current role, Peter began his career in the brewing industry in the mid-80’s, as well as previously holding the role of Manager of Operations at Brewers’ Distributor Limited.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, classic cars, charity, sports, kayaking, dog walking, politics, world history, and music. He also helps organize and support annual charity events for the BC Children’s Hospital.
When asked why Peter is proud to be a part of Brewers’ Distributor Ltd., he responded:
“Brewers’ Distributor Limited has continuously made an effort to recognize, support and promote qualified team members from within. The company also offers several incentives for employees to enhance their education and career growth.”

“The Health & Safety of all Brewers’ Distributor Ltd. employees is always first and foremost. A significant investment has been made over the years in safety education and training. Significant capital investments in automation have also been made to reduce or eliminate safety hazards and risks to our employees.”
Ray Grieves
Manager, Operations
Ray joined Brewers’ Distributor Ltd. in 2002 and is currently the Manager, Operations. In his current role, Ray is responsible for overseeing the operations at our Saskatoon and Regina Distribution Centres. Prior to his current role, Ray held several key roles including Supervisor of Operations, Assistant Manager of Operations and contributed to an organization wide SAP ERP implementation project as an SAP Specialist.
Outside of work, Ray enjoys camping with his family, fishing, and golfing with friends. He has four children and four grandchildren.
When asked why Ray is proud to be a part of Brewers’ Distributor Ltd., he responded:
“I think my biggest accomplishment has been being part of the ‘BREWS’ Project Team for the implementation of the SAP ERP.”
When asked which of our Core Values resonates the most with him, Ray said:
“Health & Safety definitely resonates with me. The Health & Safety practices that have been put in place across company have greatly improved employee safety and employee morale. Now, the expectation is to work in a safe manner, regardless of the workload. This was not always the case in the past.”
Alistair Marks
Director, Operations – Manitoba
Alistair joined Brewers’ Distributor Ltd. in 2010 and is currently the Director, Operations. In his current role, Alistair is responsible for overseeing the operations at our Manitoba Distribution Centre.

Roy Benin
President
Brewers Distributor Ltd. is thrilled to welcome Roy Benin as our new President. As our Company President, Roy is focused on building future business leaders, activating Brewers Distributor Ltd.’s future strategy with excellence, being a positive contributor to culture, and delivering annual business results. Prior to joining Brewers Distributor Ltd., Roy spent 15 years as President of Consumer-Packaged Goods companies across North America.
Outside of work, Roy enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and toy poodle. He is a marathon runner and really enjoys learning about new cultures.
When asked why Roy is proud to be a part of Brewers Distributor Ltd., he responded:
“The idea of being the "best source for beer" is meaningful. Especially when you think about our Environmental Leadership impact over the past 95 years. The rich, long, and noble history is impressive.”

Brian Park
Vice President, Finance & Corporate Services
Brian joined Brewers Distributor Ltd. in 2013. As our Vice President of Finance & Corporate Services, Brian oversees the Finance Team, the IT Team, and the Human Resources Team.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys golfing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Cathy Kim
Senior Director, Finance
Cathy joined Brewers Distributor Ltd. in 2022. As our Senior Director of Finance, Cathy is responsible for internal and external Financial Reporting, Accounting, Accounts Payable Shared Services, Treasury and Taxes. Prior to becoming Director of Finance with Brewers Distributor Ltd., Cathy held various external positions in Finance, including Corporate Controller and Director of Supply Chain Finance.
When asked why Cathy is proud to be a part of Brewers Distributor Ltd., she responded:
“I am most proud to be a part of the BDL team because of the people and my team. The drive, passion, and dedication to do what's best for the organization are balanced with collaboration, team spirit, and caring for each other. Fulvio Matteazzi
Senior Director, Financial Planning, Analysis & Procurement
Fulvio has been with Brewers Distributor Ltd. since 2012. As our Senior Director of Financial Planning, Analysis & Procurement, Fulvio oversees all financial business cycles, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, monthly reporting, variance analysis and outlook, and procurement of goods and services. Prior to his promotion to Director of Strategic Planning & Procurement, Fulvio held several key roles, including Director of Procurement & Business Analysis, Director of Strategic Projects, Director of Risk & Strategic Planning, Director of Financial Planning, and Senior Director of Financial Planning, Analysis & Procurement.
Outside of work, Fulvio enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and going to live sporting events. He is also an avid fan of hockey, soccer, basketball, football, and baseball.

Jeff Wilcox
Senior Director, Health & Safety
Jeff Wilcox Joined Brewers Distributor Ltd. in 2011 and is our Senior Director of Health & Safety. Jeff oversees the Health & Safety team and the Disability Management & Return to Work Services team. Jeff has been an integral key player of creating the culture of Health, Safety & Wellbeing that exists today. Health & Safety continues to be a driving factor in our high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction in the workplace. Prior to his promotion to Senior Director of Health & Safety, Jeff has held various key roles, including Manager of Corporate Health & Safety and Senior Manager of Corporate Health & Safety.
Outside of work, Jeff has two daughters and a wife of 40 years. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys helping others, and volunteering for his local community.

Jeff Zabalet
Vice President, Legal
Jeff has been with Brewers Distributor Ltd. since 2016. As Vice President of Legal, Jeff directly supports the Internal Audit and Loss Prevention/Security Departments as well as the Real Estate team and the Stewardship team. Prior to becoming Vice President of Legal, Jeff worked for one of the largest law firms in Canada for 10 years.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid soccer player and fan.
When asked why Jeff is proud to be a part of Brewers Distributor Ltd., he responded:
“The legal profession is really a service industry. I enjoy the variety of work and being able to support all areas of business. The reason why my role is so rewarding to me is the great people that work here. As a service provider, it’s wonderful to work with such knowledgeable, down-to-earth and appreciative individuals.”

Jennifer Mason
Senior Director, Information Technology
Jennifer Mason’s impressive career began with Brewers Distributor Ltd. in 1985. In her current role as Senior Director, Information Technology, Jennifer manages the IT Team and oversees all development, infrastructure, networks, and security across Brewers Distributor Ltd. Prior to her promotion to Senior Director of Information Technology, Jennifer held several pivotal roles, including Retail Manager, Project Manager of Corporate Systems, and Manager of Application Development.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time at her cottage in Northern Ontario and fishing with her husband. Jennifer is the Executive Sponsor for the Women’s Initiative Network Employee Resource Group. Jennifer is passionate about breaking down barriers and empowering women to achieve success.

“I am most proud of the people. Each day I am blessed to work with such great team members across Ontario. I enjoy mentoring, managing, and meeting new people, with every new I.T. project we embark on.”

Suzanne Makins
Senior Director, People & Culture
Suzanne Makins joined Brewers Distributor Ltd. in 2000. As the Senior Director of People & Culture, Suzanne oversees the Employee Relations Team, the Compensation Team, the Learning & Development Team, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Team, and the Human Resources Team. Prior to her promotion to Director of People & Culture, Suzanne held several key roles, including District Manager, Senior Manager of Learning & Development, and Director of Employee Relations.
Outside of work, Suzanne enjoys hiking, biking, and building model planes. She is also a lifetime member of the Warplane Heritage Museum. Suzanne is a regular supporter of many charitable events for Multiple Sclerosis, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, and ALS fundraising.
