Employee Recognition Programs

In addition to compensation and benefits, we believe it’s extremely important to recognize and reward our team members for their years of service and contributions to the organization!

Badges in our Human Resources Information System:

All BDL employees can give and receive badges in our HR Management System (The Pub) for a job well done! We have a total of 20 badges that align with our Core Values, Culture, and Employee Recognition Programs. Employees can award a badge to another team member and insert a custom greeting message that will be displayed on their profile to show off their accomplishment.

Milestone Service Awards:

We provide a Milestone Awards Program for both part-time and full-time team members starting at 3 years of service up to 45 years of service. During the month of their anniversary, team members receive a congratulatory letter from our President and a gift to commemorate their special milestone.

Peer Recognition Program:

The Peer Recognition Award program provides employees at BDL with an opportunity to acknowledge one another and be shown appreciation for exceptional achievements and contributions to our business and/or local community! Nominations should be sincere, genuine expressions of appreciation for behaviours or actions that align with our core values. Winners will be selected three times a year and awarded with a prize pack worth over $200.00, a swag bag, a signed certificate from our President, and a feature in our employee magazine, Kegs & Cases!
