The Role
We are currently searching for Warehouse Workers for our Winnipeg Distribution Centre. These are unionized part-time opportunities with up to 40 hours a week (overtime may occur). Starting wage is $17.73/hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement. Looking to fill positions on our PM shift (15:00 – 23:30) and our M/S (22:00 – 06:30) Flexible hours available. Must be available to train 40hrs on day shift

On-site at the Winnipeg Distribution Centre
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product, sorting empties of cans/bottles and crushing cans
- Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
- Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
- Ensure the company’s Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
- Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Education
- Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred
Experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in an operations/warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required
Skills
- Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
- Demonstrated reliability and dependability
- The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills
